Before visiting, please take note of the below information.

Fridge
Open door and turn on using the dial inside top right. Switch from 0 to 1 or 2. Depending on how long last people left, fridge may be on.

Central Heating
Panel on wall by door. Turn temperature up to suit. When leaving, please turn temperature to 6.

Washing Machine
(don’t forget to switch water on at tap behind machine) are in top drawer in the little draw in the small unit in the bathroom..  TV, and stereo instructions by TV. To use DVD, press DVD on remote and then press bottom rh button (open/close) to activate DVD. Feel free to use any DVD’s or CD’s.

Kitchen
The gas is on, so cooker; shower etc are all ready to use. There is a kettle on the  stove also a coffee maker (unscrew base, remove inset filter and fill with cold water- replace filter and fill it with coffee. Screw top back on tightly and put on gas ring and wait till it’s all boiled through!!). Help yourselves to coffee, wine, oil etc. Just replace what you use please.

Local Supermarkets
There is a fantastic hypermarket about 3 or 4-miles away- follow signs for Sondrio (back the way you came in!). It is called ‘Iperal’ and has absolutely everything!! The nearest supermarket – another small Iperal is  on LHS in Domaso (turn right at bottom lane by church and it is about a mile or 2). Alternatively there is another ‘Iperal’ supermarket on the main road just through Gravadonna- turn right at bottom of lane and follow road for about 5 miles and it’s on the right.

There is a small deli for general groceries in the square in Gera Lario which is fantastic for fresh breads, croissants etc and a grocers for fresh bread etc and newsagent in Sorico.

Shutters
Please use external catches to secure the shutters when open in case of strong winds etc.

Rubbish
There are plenty of bin-bags which are disposed of in the large wheelie type bins. The nearest is in the little square just up the lane but there are plenty on the drive down to the main road.

Water
water is safe to drink however there is plenty of bottled water in the lobby to the bathroom. Again help yourself and replace.

Duvet Covers & Bedding
please take with you a duvet cover, sheet, pillow cases and towels. (if you use our towels etc. Please wash before you leave).

Guides & Information
There are many guides, leaflets and a ferry timetable in the drawer in the bedside cupboard, however there are very good tourist informations in Menaggio and Domaso which will give you lots of info.

Intercom System
The intercom on the wall above the heating controls is linked to the entrance to the garage and the blue button will release the bottom gate. There is a switch on the wall by the gate on the ground floor, which opens the gate.

Cleaning
Could you please give the apartment a final clean when you leave for our next guests. There are plenty of cleaning cloths etc under the sink and in the small draw under the oven and a mop, bucket and brush in the cupboard in the bathroom lobby. Please make sure everything is locked up when you leave. Please make sure all internal doors are left open for ventilation before you leave

Please note there is no smoking in the apartment.
